The MayFair Hotel ProjectThis body of work was commissioned by Radisson-Edwardian Hotels (REH) for their London flagship hotel, The MayFair, off Berkeley Square (see www.Radisson.com) . The hotel was completely refurbished by the company in a massive £70m undertaking. The ‘new’ hotel was launched in Autumn 2006.
REH wanted a series of eye-catching London landmarks for all the corridors on the guest floors, which in the end required 700 framed photographs. These urban landscapes in black and white with infra-red film capture the city of London in a dreamy world of its own – a rare view with few people and only the beauty of form, light and line.
