My passion is to fill the frame of the camera with the harmony of what I am viewing - not to record the scene as a documentary, but to capture my ‘feel’ of it, to cut to its heart, and reveal its essence. The one aspect that I strive to see in the finished print form is that sense of contemplative peace that I feel when I am capturing the image, whether in the vastness of nature or a rare moment of urban silence.

All of my images are recorded on film and they are not digitally-enhanced.  Much of my black and white work is taken on Kodak Infrared film and generally my choice for colour is Fujichrome colour slide/transparency.
